Feeling beyond discouraged right now after putting up some horrific numbers with Ninja MCQ for Regulation and i’m not sure how to approach this next month. It just feels like I lost all my momentum after passing FAR and BEC, and taking Audit in Quarter 2.

    Category/Average/Trending
    Ethics/Professional/Legal Responsibilities 72/77
    Business Law 55/62
Federal Tax Process, Procedures, Accounting 64/64
Federal Taxation of Property Transaction 66/60
    Federal Taxation of Individuals 52/47
    Federal Taxation of Entities 56/53

I test at the end of August and i’m willing to do whatever it takes to turn this around and start feeling confident again. I’m open to any advice. I was thinking I should hammer the MCQs that I got wrong until I get them all right and purchase Ninja Notes. There are times when I finish a 30 MCQ session and think I should have gotten more questions right, but clearly I need to buckle down. Thanks for reading.

    FAR: Pass
    BEC: Pass
    AUD: Waiting on score
    REG: 8/25

If youve got a month to go, plenty of time to keep knocking out mcqs

All I can say is, a month is actually a lot of time to get those numbers up, which aren't THAT bad to begin with IMO. I'm like 10 days away from FAR and every day I feel discouraged and like I don't know enough. But then after studying all day, I look back and think “Wow, I just learned all that info I didn't know this morning and now I know it by nighttime, or at least understand it much better. And that's 1 day of work. I keep doing that and 10 days is actually a lot of time to gain more info and do better.” Not sure if that makes sense but the amount you can improve day by day, let alone a month is a lot.

Plus, you've done this before and you can do it again. How did you feel 1 month away from FAR and BEC? Probably the same exact way. I highly doubt you felt anywhere near close to being ready 1 month away from those exams, but you probably learned an immense amount between that month and test time.

And if you REALLY need to feel better about your numbers, just know that I got a 58 on my REG Becker practice exam 2 days away from the exam and still managed to pull off a 75 on the actual test.

    BEC- 81

    AUD- 82

    REG- 75

    FAR- 81

    BEC- August 31

I've said this before and I will say it again – trending scores on practice exams or practice questions are often not consistent with how someone will do on the actual exam. If you're disappointed, the disappointment should come after you fail the exam, not after you trend 60 on practice exams or anything that doesn't count. But I hope you won't fail any exams.
