Hi this is Hamza Gari from Saudi Arabia, I took FAR on 12/10/2019.

Below is my impression on my first exam I ever took,

—–I thought the first two testlets are easy, the 66 MCQs. However, I took exactly 2 hours to finish them because I did not use a calculator, I was using the Excel feature on the exam, which caused me to re-write numbers and take longer time in finishing them. The Prometric guy did not ask me if I needed a calculator, so I assumed it was not allowed.

—-Then, literally I lost my momentum through the 8 Sims, I left 3 and half Sims empty, inclusive of the research question, and the rest of the Sims, I answered them with complete hesitation and uncertainty. I was not sure what every question was asking for specifically, and I was not able to extract the info I need from the Exhibits. Every Sim had like more than 9 Exhibits. I was running out of time…and freaking out : (

I took unpaid leave from work and studied for 10 weeks. Yet I think I failed miserably.
