    Just emailed cpacentral; they said the wait time is 4-6 weeks approx.

    Seriously? Granted, I’m a first time applicant. And not a US citizen. But that’s like a month of wait time. Really?

    +) I was really hoping to take the tests in this testing window..
    Apparently some people on the internet got theirs in days via email. I know it’s wishful thinking but any chance of something like that happening? 🙁

    I do not think that it has something to do with citizenship.
    I am waiting for my NTS for 4 weeks already and they say that it is a normal schedule.

    take that time and start studying so you can hit the ground running once the application goes through

    If the materials you sent in are complete and accurate, it won't take that long. 3 weeks is about what you can expect.

    Shoot for the stars!

    I had to wait over 20 weeks to be approved (by NYS, not NASBA) back in 2017.
    4-6 weeks is nothing. Good luck with your studies!

    What state are you applying to? I know NY and CA take a really long time. I'm in VA and it didn't take that long.

    I am in NYC. I have sent my application on July 15. On July 29 NASBA has re-classified the status of my application to “check for accuracy of the decision”. I have called them last week and they said to give it two-three more weeks. 🙁 Meanwhile, I am about to start my study process.

    Update: Status changed to Evaluation. It used to say Application received. It took a couple days; Hope that's a good sign.
    @Accounting_is_Taxing; I applied in MT.

    Update: emailed state coordinator.
    They said it's gonna be a couple weeks; Not 4-6 weeks like NASBA says. Apparently it depends on which state you're applying in.
    Now speculating whether that means EXACTLY two weeks or not.. :/
