    Hey Everyone,

So long story short I started studying for the CPA back in January, and I have since passed BEC and AUD (first try, and lots of luck), however I am waiting on the grades of both REG and FAR. REG I felt the weakest in, and FAR surprisingly felt okay, not amazing, but definitely not bombed. Do you think there is a chance I can actually pass these two first try? I studied and used Becker, and had no other adulty obligations due to recent college grad and still can be in study mode. I just want some optimism before grade release day. Obviously will accept more realistic answers, but no negative nannies please!

Really it comes down to your preparation in comparison to others. You passed your others on your first try so you have a great chance in my opinion, especially being a recent graduate. I'm sorta on the same boat as I sat early for the exams in school and am awaiting hopefully what will be my final passing grade. Best of luck to us all!

    REG - 92 (1/17)

    BEC - 82 (2/17)

    AUD - 89 (5/17)

    FAR - 94 (9/17)

Rogers Elite + Becker mcqs/sims for all 4 exams

    WA State Ethics Exam - 83, 83, 90 (9/17)

    AICPA Ethics Exam - 95 (9/17)

    1-year of work - complete (11/18)

Anything is possible. I would not for a second think that you didn't pass if you put the work in.

I read on the AICPA site that less than 20% of candidates pass all 4 parts of the exam their first time. I actually feel like that stat is really high haha. I did pass REG my first time (barely), but wasn't so lucky with FAR (was NOT surprised, I did NOT finish half the SIMS…..) and then AUD came out of no where and broke my heart!

It all came down to not studying correctly and sufficiently. I've also decided that it also comes down to a little luck – Did you happen to get an exam that played to your strengths? Did you sit with a bunch of geniuses who can easily kick you off the pass curve AND EVEN did you happen to answer all those ungraded questions correctly and then missed 10 that counted …. you could drive yourself crazy with all the possibilities! And trust me, I have 😀

    AUD - 83
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 78
    REG - 75
    AUD - 74 painful - Q3 Score Release 84!!!!!!

    FAR - 73 also painful - Q3 Score Release 78!!!!!!

    REG- 75 whew

    BEC - 75 whew

I'd peg the chances at about 10% or less 🙂

"FACT": The odds of consecutively passing all four sections of the CPA exam on the first try: 7%.

    Me: Hold my beer...

    FAR (April 2017): 75+

    BEC (May 2017): 75+

    AUD (July 2017): 75+

    REG (September 2017): 75+

First of all, thank you everyone for replying, even you Turbo for your realistic stat and smiley face. I think FAR really did play to my strengths overall, 1 or 2 sims were defiantly rough, but I didn't feel god awful leaving the exam, just the normal terrible. REG I think is the one that will be my downfall, I didn't feel amazing about the MC or Sims, but it was really hard to tell if I was doing the right thing or the wrong thing, ya know? I just really want this to be over, but if I can AT LEAST pass 1 out of the 2, then I guess I can still count it as a victory right? I still have one year before my BEC expires.
