    Hello all,

As my title states, I have taken audit three times (70, 71, 72) and need to pass this time around or I will lose AUD. My study method so far has been to go through all of Becker‘s MCQ until I am averaging a 90 percent, reading the Becker book, doing the Becker final review, and other misc. study methods. This time around, I have added Ninja to the mix. I have gone through about half of the MCQ in the prior version of Ninja and was trending an 85% with an average MCQ score of 87%. This makes sense to me since I scored “Stronger” on MCQ and “Weaker” on Sims last time I took the test.

My question, what are ways that I can push myself over the edge? I want to be done with the CPA so badly and I am extremely close.

    Thank you all

    Hi Bubba,

I took Auditing this early this past September and then again in late October. I got a 67 in September and 85 in October. The difference for me was, I practiced a lot of simulations. I also used Becker and answered all the simulations throughout the sections. Also, keep up with it, don't let a lot of time pass by. You have to maintain your MC skills, while increasing your simulation skills. Keep practicing all 3 of the Becker finals. Good Luck!

I have gone through all of the Becker SIMs, but I think I will go back through them in addition to the Ninja sims.

I highly recommend you study reviews, comps, attestation etc. and the diff in the wording between the related letters and reports of these and actual audits.
I feel as if these are equivalent to the govt./non profit of FAR.. bound to show up and surely worth any extra points you can get.
    Good luck to you!

Thank you, everyone. I am pretty locked down on MCQ at this point. I scored stronger on my last test and I am trending 87% with an 87% MCQ average on Ninja. There are a few areas that I want to work with, but my problem seems to be with the SIMs.

I too kept failing AUD with “stronger” on the MCQ and “weaker” on the TBS. To be honest with you, it was driving me crazy because I felt I knew the material very well. That being said, the Becker questions were becoming all too familiar for me. To counter this, I purchsed the Gleim test bank and did nothing but MCQ and TBS for a month straight. If I got something wrong, I made sure to write it down – these became small little “fact nuggets” that I would revisit periodically. The key for me was to change it up, try to see different questions, and of course, practice the TBS (specifically the document review type TBS). With this strategy, my score increased to an 80 and overall I felt more confident and poised during the exam. Hope this helps!

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
