Gleim Governmental Accounting nearly made me want to give up FAR

    Okay, SU 18 Modified accrual wasn’t bad. I did around 70-80% on MCQ in first few attempts. I was angry and random answered one set and got a 30%, then tried again and got 70% and Gleim told me I “exhausted my efforts and pause on this unit”

    But SU 19 titled “full accrual” is such a nightmare with the details of the differences between the transactions on GWFS and government fund, the GWFS items, the proprietary fund and the fiduciary fund. I ahswered a couple of multiple choices at the end of chapter, and I’m already starting to guessing more questions than I usually do.

    What’s worse, Gleim textbook in this part is like throwing concepts and jargons at me. I have Roger but his videos explain very superficially on this topic.

    I’m going to take a break and see whether I’m gonna do NFP (final chapter) first or not. Either way, I need to wrap up this book tonight. Screw the government

    They defintely beefed all 3 chapters (govt 1, gov 2, and nfp) up compared to the last window. It is indeed brutal!

    I spent nearly 4 weeks on those last 3 chapters and was glad that i did. They saved my @$$ on the FAR exam as Gov & NFP questions and Sims were popping up left and right on the exam. I was pretty shocked to see an 84 for my score literally.
