I passed AUD earlier this year. Got a 74 yesterday on BEC. I had moved on to studying for REG. It was a tough pill to swallow. I’ve read some advice but was hoping to hear some good other people’s thoughts and perspective. I would greatly appreciate the input. Did this happen to anyone else?

    AUD - 76
    BEC - 74
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
Thank you for everyone's thoughts and perspective

Keep rolling…take a few days off to reflect, then get back to it. My BEC story is a nightmare (as with other sections -see below), but what's done is done. Sorry it happened to you, 74s suck, happened to me in Reg.

    CPA (2017)

    REG:  75

    BEC:  76

    FAR:  77

    AUD: 78

    CMA (2019)

    P1: 380

    P2: 360

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

First thought…if you're that close, it won't be that hard to pass the line next time (and the prep will be easier after going through it once already). Push just a bit harder and you have it.

    AUD - 96
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 89
    REG - 86
    Aaron and always remember, YMMV

I profit from your CPE frustration. You're welcome.

BTW – Mtaylo – I'd hire you just for being tenacious/dedicated.

    AUD - 96
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 89
    REG - 86

I've gotten two 74's now. My advice, as I've seen so many times on here, don't study like you need one more point, you need 75 more points.

    AUD - 81
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 86
    REG - 90
Even when winning is illogical, losing still far form optional.

I feel everyone’s pain here. I honestly can’t believe I got a 74 on BEC. This was supposed to be my last exam ever!! The worst thing is, my early/mid-year promotion to Senior was contingent on passing. So frustrating!!!

All we can do now is pick ourselves up and crush the next exam!!!!! Let’s do this!!!!!!

    AUD - 94
    BEC - 74
    FAR - 76
    REG - 82

I got a 74! I was heartbroken. This was suppose to be my last one as well. Now I have one last try before my REG and Audit expire. I am going to restudy again and try harder. Somehow I was weaker in many of the sections except for the financial section.

Any other recommendations or those that have had similar experience what can we do? I am using Ninja and Becker.

    We got this my friends!

I am sorry for anyone that this happens to. That stinks.

    AUD - 94
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 77
    REG - 88

I took BEC back in September failed it with a 73, retook it in November and passed with an 80. Do not merely memorize the formulas and ratios; you need to understand how to interpret them, how they relate to other ratios/formulas and how changing certain components can yield certain results. Also, be prepared to work MCQs that have a slight quirk or wrinkle to them. After seeing and doing the same MCQs over and over again, you might just be memorizing them. The problem is when you see a similiar problem on the exam, but the problem is worded differently or requires an additional step to solve it.
