Has anyone been busted for nondisclosure?

I get pretty paranoid sometimes, and I’m having flashbacks now of leaving Prometric and the guy who signs us out asked me how it went. I was so upset after seeing some topics on sims I had never seen before I sort of vented about it. I didn’t get too specific, but I definitely mentioned a subject that a sim was on. No one else was around, the center was basically empty.

I know now how stupid that was, but you know how it feels when you walk out of the prometric center and you’re trying to hold tears back and feeling so frustrated and then someone invites you to talk about it. But now I’m getting scared, what if he reported me to the AICPA?

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone has ever been busted for nondisclosure and denied a license or something.

    Thank you!

I would not worry about talking to Prometric staff.

I heard NASBA bugs prometric centers after hours. Since it’s a government org you’re probably in the clear for 6-12 months unless you’re a repeat offender.

While I'm sure the AICPA takes disclosure of exam materials very seriously, I highly doubt that they take drastic measures to counter it. I equate it to having a black-domed security camera facing a petty cash safe, but there is no actual camera inside the black-dome.

This same exact scenario happened to a buddy of mine and two AICPA special agents knocked down his front door at 6AM on a Friday. The AICPA don’t play around, bro.

If my experience is any indication, then you are in a bad place. CPA Agents kicked down my door last night. They claimed that I was being arrested for violating non disclosure and read me my Miranda rights. I'm posting this message from my jail cell, and the last thing I heard was my lawyer saying “you can kiss being a CPA goodbye…”. I'll keep you guys posted on what happens.
