Im having problems with finding the research question. I know I get it wrong every time because I don’t know what Im looking for when I see a tone of information.

I need tips on how to navigate effectively and quickly. I’ve read that the AL is a huge help if you know how to use it. Help me to get those extra points!

I put my recipe here. Essentially – I've never used the “main” search – only advanced, as prescribed by Becker.

for FAR research questions ,FASB codification gurus

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 77
    REG - 81
REG - 1. Becker only - fail (forgot to study depr - oops); 2. Becker only - Pass
FAR - 1. Becker only - fail; 2. added Ninja Notes and MCQ - Pass
AUD - 1. Becker videos; Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass
BEC - 1. Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass

Same way you get better at doing anything….practice.

Read the prompt, pop in a few key words on search/advance search and look around.

    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 81
    REG - 82
    FAR - 74 first attempt

Thank you for your post M123, I'll put your tips in practice.

The thing is Anthony, maybe I've being practicing the wrong way because I spend to much time trying to find what the question is asking me. That's why I need to know other ways to do it better and faster.

Practice, as Anthony said. Learn how to identify keywords and always use advanced search. Also the search within function can be very helpful as well. Practicing will help you learn the different folders in the AL itself so if searches aren't getting you what you need then you can instead use your knowledge of the folders to find the general area the answer would be in, then use the search within function

    REG - 92 (1/17)

    BEC - 82 (2/17)

    AUD - 89 (5/17)

    FAR - 94 (9/17)

Rogers Elite + Becker mcqs/sims for all 4 exams

    WA State Ethics Exam - 83, 83, 90 (9/17)

    AICPA Ethics Exam - 95 (9/17)

    1-year of work - complete (11/18)

    Licensed WA State CPA
