I've been out of my undergrad for over 15 years and the system works. I used the video lectures, CRAM lessons, Adapt-A-Pass learning, and the audio lessons. Next on the list is REG and then I am done. For me, Yaeger has made all the difference and has made me believe that I can and will do this.December 19, 2017 at 9:04 am #1680956jpandaParticipant
I finally passed AUD on the 5th try! I had wanted to pass all 4 within half a year, and it took a bit longer, but finally I passed all four in a year and a half. It was in the nick of time too, because my Roger was going to expire this month. I'm sooooo glad to be done, I can finally have a life again!!
It's going to be a good Christmas.
Also, just on another topic. I don't have all the experience needed to get the CPA yet and probably not soon, I'm going to assume that there is no time limit in getting the required experience, correct? I'd like to get it in the next year or so but can't get it right now as I'm not working for a CPA. I'm in Texas if that matters.December 19, 2017 at 9:12 am #1680994BluetoothrayParticipant
Passed. I'm Almost in tears. I passed!!!! FAR is done. Forever. They're all done. I'm done. My goodness it feels so GOOD!!!! If you're still trying to defeat this dragon keep at it! The feeling at the end is so worth it! It really is!December 19, 2017 at 9:31 am #1681088MattLorenzParticipant
Passed with an 85! Walked out feeling decent about the multiple choice, but I thought the sims had costed me a passing score! I guess moral of the story is, never give up on a problem just because you might not know all of it. A few points here and there can add up pretty quickly!December 19, 2017 at 11:17 am #1681394OnToTheNextOneParticipant
jpanda, i believe there is a time limit but its usually around a decade so i think youll be fineDecember 19, 2017 at 1:28 pm #1681795Sween1012Participant
Passed AUD with an 84 using Roger. I didn't watch most of the videos, just read book, did some MCQs & SIMS. I hated AUD in college. I feel like reading the book and focusing on the layout of the different types of reports/compilations is what helped me pass.December 19, 2017 at 3:11 pm #1682087CSParticipant
Passed with an 88.
Used Roger (watched lectures, read the book and did about 85 % of his MCQ – none of his SIMs or any of the videos of him teaching SIMs) + Roger CRAM -videos only (used it because I had a 3 week review window I didn't expect so I bought it to blast through the videos for a refresher), NINJA MCQ + Audio (1,200 MCQ) + Gleim Test Bank (1,000+ MCQ + 90 Sims – SIMs all within a few days of the test). It might seem like overkill and naturally there was overlap in questions, but I don't regret it as I'd hope not to take it again. Also, I think FAR scarred me, even though I passed with an 81, I never felt that destroyed after a test so I wanted to make sure my MCQ game was on point.
That being said, after FAR Audit was way more enjoyable to study for. Congrats everyone!December 19, 2017 at 3:35 pm #1682116jpandaParticipant

Yes, I passed AUD!! The score is somewhat lower than I thought but I am happy to take that 79!
I switched from Wiley to Roger and I am glad I did. His lecture style worked for me. I did used Wiley test bank which I feel lucky that one of my TBS questions were pretty much identical to the one from Wiley's Test bank TBS.February 5, 2018 at 6:12 pm #1707684jeffKeymaster

Can anybody who just got there scores back for Audit and passed talk a little bit about how they studied. Also, if you used becker, did you go through all of the skills practice? I am still trying to find a way that works, but I am struggling.February 5, 2018 at 8:26 pm #1707865cpacParticipant

After taking FAR twice and failing both times, BEC twice and failing and Audit once with failing I can finally say I passed Audit. I got a 76, feels good to see a passing score after failing, hopefully the passing will continue with BEC up next in AprilMarch 7, 2018 at 9:41 pm #1727522RyonTParticipant

@accounting123 I do have Becker and did do all of the skills practice. I failed Audit once before way back in 2015 with a 69 and did not finish all of the becker material. I would do the lecture, the skills, then questions and flag the ones i missed. I did the sims mostly last two weeks before the review. Also PROGRESS TESTS hit those hard….especially after you haven't seen a chapter in awhile. Follow the guidelines on the actual 2 practice tests taking one 2 weeks before the exam and another 1 week before the exam. YOU GOT THIS!!!!! Don't give up 🙂 I failed FAR probably 5 times before passing, and lost my BEC score way back when and just have pushed through.March 7, 2018 at 10:04 pm #1727639rw3711Participant
