I passed REG with a 78. I feel very content to have achieved my goal of passing 2 out 4 exams by the end of this year. I spent 8 weeks studying for the exam using Becker. but it would be wrong to say I dedicated each day to studying since I am also working full-time so I had days where I was able to study 3-4 hours after work and on other days, I could barely hit the 1-hour mark but I definitely got through most of my studying on weekends and spent the entire Thanksgiving reviewing the content again. Followed the usual routine: watch video lectures –> review notes –> solve MCQ's –> review flashcards. Rinse. Repeat. What really helped me to remember tax was making 1-paged summary sheets that I kept reviewing at work, during lunch, before bed and during my commute. Blaw was one of the more recent classes I took before graduating so I was glad I remembered most of the material. Spent the last 2 weeks reviewing all the flagged concepts, focusing mainly on tax, and took the 2 Becker finals averaging 65 on each.

    Now, on to AUD.

I only spent about 80 hours over 8 weeks and squeaked by with a 77; this makes three for three. Now I can concentrate on pulling off a FAR victory in a month…eek!

Just found out I got 81 on REG. It was my last section – I AM DONE!!!!!!!!

I thought I had 50/50 chance of passing as flagged quite a few mcqs. I completely left one SIM BLANK (couldn't even put zeroes because I ran out of time) and I felt like I got the research question wrong.

It's been a long journey: I passed each section twice (blame it on tax seasons..) over 3 years.. I can't thank you Another71 community enough for all the information and support. Good luck to everyone – even if you are struggling, just keep going at it and it will get done (trust me).

    YAY 🙂
