How is Scout for BEC?

    Hi everyone,

I take BEC on December 9th and I am looking at supplemental material. I am using Becker as my primary study material, but I am not feeling I am grasping the concepts very well. I am averaging 75% on the MCQs in Becker, but I still feel that I am vastly under prepared. My question is, what is the scout package like? and how well does it do as final review material (specifically for the new BEC exam)?

    Thank you!

    BEC - 92
    FAR - 82
    REG - 90

Scout is definitely beneficial imo. I just passed BEC a few months ago and also used scout (Wiley book only as primary), but the only thing I really needed from it was the MCQs which they no longer offer alone. From what I've heard about Beckers, the MCQs and SIMs from Beckers may not be adequate.

    BEC - 77
    FAR - 81
    REG - 85
    Ethics - 90 - 8/16/18 - 2nd Try

I bet you get a lot better bang for your buck with Ninja-Scout. Becker is decent, but grossly overpriced. Becker costs a fortune and has a decent amount of errors in the software. For costing $3000+ I expected more from Becker, but there’s no turning back now.

    Goodluck studying.
