Went to office visit in Deloitte on March.4th. and all the girls went the same day with me got rejected on the following Monday. A month passed by, I still have not got rejected or a offer. HR responded my email last week said they are still going the process. One thing I am wondering is that will big four reject candidates without emailing them after a while? Have anyone heard their friend got offer after a month or so? Should I follow up again?

It took me about a month to get my offer. I emailed the recruiter about 2 weeks after my interview and she also said they were still in the process. I would say just be patient and wait for them to contact you. If you really want to contact them, I would wait at least another week before emailing them again.

It means you're likely on a waiting list. People absolutely have gotten offers after a couple of weeks, but the general rule is most of the offers are handed out within hours or days of the office visit. Always a plus to follow up within a reasonable time and show initiative.

Spartan15 is right, you're likely on the waiting list. A couple friends of mine, especially experienced hires, had to wait a couple weeks or months, but campus hires are usually given offers right away. The fact that you didn't get a rejection is a very good sign though;)

By the way, are you a foreigner in need of visa sponsorship by any chance? If that's the case that might delay the process a bit as HR would probably need to make sure they are in a position to support your case and that you're eligible etc.

You are for sure a second choice, but since people accept other offers you still have a chance. Day of, day after, or at least within a week is pretty typical for the big 4.

    REG: 89!
    AUD: 90!
    FAR: Studying
    BEC: 91!

Day of and day after are the common time frames. If you have not a received an offer or rejection by this time frame, it means you are currently on a waiting list.

Good luck. Hope you get good news. If not, it's not the end of the world. Big 4 is still within shot if you can manage to get on at a National or Mid tier firm.
