I had a busy summer before I started full-time. Moved a girlfriend across the country, enjoyed my last summer of freedom at our cottage, played plenty of golf and drank. I was “studying full-time” but I don't think I qualified for that. I started studying for REG the last week of June after I passed BEC. I took the test Aug 31, after delaying it about 2.5 weeks (Assurance 1 training sucked the life out of me). There were about 3 times within that span that I totally stopped studying for 5 days at a time (don't recommend). So if I were to have stuck to a disciplined plan I would say 6 weeks is GENERALLY enough time. I passed with an 83 and used Becker.

I work full time and studied six to eight weeks per section. Banged out one per window and took breaks in between. I could have compressed it but I need to get one year of experience for the license so why rush?

i worked full time and studied a few hours a day, all day on weekends, took all but last two friday nights off, for 8 weeks. i had about 110 hours on ninja mcq dashboard and read the ninja book. used other sites that i googled, some youtube videos, and the AL.
exam mcq's were very straightforward and as expected – the sims were leftfield. got an 88 first attempt.
it took awhile for basis concepts to really kick in for me for all the entities. once that happened, the rest of the review was repetition of concepts and calculations.

Ive been studying Regulation since last November…working full time w/ needy kid, wife, friends, family, and coworkers (and auditors), its completely subjective…

Studied from Nov 20 to Feb 15 focusing on Reg and only Reg and got a 55 (Gleim)
Studied from May 10 to May 27 and got a 69 (Gleim and the Wiley book)
Studied from Aug 7 to Aug 27 and got a 74 (some Gleim, mostly Ninja)

I'm stuck in CPA hell, so I wouldn't rely on my opinion much

    CPA (2017)

    REG:  75

    BEC:  76

    FAR:  77

    AUD: 78

    CMA (2019)

    P2: 360

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

6 weeks, not working. I'm not the most efficient at studying and my brain hurts if I try to shove too much in it at once, so you probably could do it in 4-5 weeks. I used CPAExcel/Ninja MCQ and passed. If I were to do it all over again, I'd probably use Gleim or just Ninja. Becker is too expensive and I don't watch videos, so I wouldn't use Roger.

I studied for 3 months and 6 days. My plan was to study 2-3 hours on week nights and 4-6 hours during weekends but it was not the case because work has been very demanding lately which includes working on weekends most of the time and bringing a flash drive home to meet deadlines. I was using Ninja as my main review materials then I switched to Gleim (for this retake) and occasionally used Ninja notes and book (thanks to free update).

I passed REG with an 88. I feel like I put more time into REG than I did for FAR.

I used Gleim , which I feel did a great job of preparing me. The SIM's in Gleim were really difficult compared to the real thing in my opinion.

I failed REG twice before passing it in the last window of 2015. The First time I failed because I only studied 40% of all Becker material and did not study business law at all. The second time I failed because of a family crisis and took the exam anyway since it was already paid. The third time I studied 80% of all tax MCQ in Becker once and 40% of all business law MCQ. I study really slow but take the time to know why an answer is correct or wrong. In my third attempt, I also used the Becker Final review which was paid by my employer and it summarizes all the concepts nicely for the last week of the exam. One of the thing I personally found very important is to be able to go over every concept before the exam. Since there is so much material, the challenge is to remember all different concepts. I found Ninja Note and audio to be very useful.

    @bornontheblue

I am currently at chapter 3 in Gleim. The info seems a lot. How can I work through their 20 series and zoom in on what's to really know?
How did you memorize all that for the exam and How long did you study for per work day and weekends ?
I feel like I am running out of time
