I am taking REG on Nov 28 and I have been studying for 4 weeks nows. I am also working full time (sometimes long nights) but I feel like I’m not making much progress and being efficient with my studying. For each chapter, it takes me a week and a half to get through the lectures and MCQs, if not more, and an additional 2 days for the simulations. I’ve only gotten through R1-3 so far so I don’t know if this is gonna change for the later chapters but any advice on if I should be studying differently?

    BEC - 80
    FAR - 83
    REG - 78

I just took Reg yesterday so I'll shed some light.

I'm expecting some blowback on this stance, but I would recommend foregoing practicing the sims. The only time you need to spend on preparing sims is to familiarize yourself with how the authoritative literature works and how the sims function, as in the calculator and spreadsheets and splitting screens. I understand I may be the only person who thinks this way, especially when there are so many threads with people freaking out about sims.

Again, it is only one opinion, but I would use those 2 days per chapter to either catch up on your schedule or dedicate the time to learning the content in greater detail via textbook pass keys and MCQs. Very very small marginal benefit for repeatedly practicing sims.

As far as your timeline overall, you are in good shape because business law 6-8 goes much faster.

Bottom line: “prepare” for the sims via familiarization, but don't “practice” them all.
