Sorry if that’s phrased awkwardly, but what is the minimum number of weeks of full time study/review that would be required on each section in order to pass?

    Thank you!

I know this probably isn't the answer you wanted but it depends on a few things. First, what type of person you are and how quickly you can grasp material. Second, it depends what you mean by full-time. If you equate “full-time” to 40 hours per week of studying, then you theoretically should be able to do FAR and REG in about 3 weeks, and AUD and BEC in 2; however, rarely does anyone actually study 40hours. People will say they do but when BECKER recommends 40hrs/week or if you say your going to do8 8 hrs a day, they mean actual productive study time. Not browsing the web inbetween sections, taking lunch breaks etc.

I feel like I've been on the quicker side of taking the exam and plan to have the whole thing done in 4 months. I took FAR in Nov. AUD in Dec., have REG this month, and then BEC next month.

My strategy to determine my study time is to take the amount of chapters in module, divide it by 2, and then add a week for review. So my total study time in weeks is as follows: FAR:6, REG:5, AUD:4, BEC:4
I typically study about 20-30 hours a week as I am currently in a MAcc program.

    FAR - 81 (11/10/18)
    AUD - 79 (12/8/18)
    REG - 84 (1/22/19)
    BEC - 84 (2/13/2019)

    KG,

Completely agree with Steven that it depends on how you study, and how much you are able to study in a day consistently without burning yourself out.

I was in a position where I was able to study for all 4 exams in one window and pass them on the first go. I went FAR: 2 weeks, REG and AUD: 1.5 weeks each, and BEC: about 5 days (I have a finance background so was able to skip alot of the studying for that).

My strategy was get through all of the Becker lectures in 3 to 4 days, and then hit practice problems and practice tests as hard as possible. I generally was going about 10AM to Midnight most days, taking a couple of breaks throughout the day to watch TV and go to the gym.

Definitely a brutal time but well worth it to be over and done with, and could not have been done if I had anything else going in my life at the time. But theoretically, you could get it done in a window if you have the time and motivation to!

if you can study 12 hours a day, for reg, bec and aud, i think 1 week study may get you pass and 2 weeks is definitely sufficient. for far, 2 weeks may get you pass and 3 weeks is sufficient.

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - 95
    REG - 99

Yeah I have some students in the MAcc program that did the above. It's basically a choice:
Either study 4-6 weeks per section and have somewhat of a life, or study 2-3weeks for each exam and make CPA Studying your life (ie. all you do is eat, sleep, and study, literally). I personally prefer the former but i've had some classmates who prefer the latter and did nonstop studying for 2 weeks during break and passed REG, BEC, or AUD.

    FAR - 81 (11/10/18)
    AUD - 79 (12/8/18)
    REG - 84 (1/22/19)
    BEC - 84 (2/13/2019)

I spent about 350 hours for each Exam. Probably 700 hours for FAR since I took it twice. I basically planned 2 full months for each course and 2 weeks as a final review. For FAR it was double the time. My learning style is to study slow and process information with full attention. That’s why it took 2.5 months per exam.

    AUD - 78
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 78
    REG - 87
