How relevant would 2013 Becker books be?

I have a friend who passed the exam way back in 2013, and gave me all of her Becker books. I know the exam has had some changes in recent years, but mostly in the format of the exam (more emphasis on TBSs, right?) The core material should still be pretty much the same as it was a few years ago.

I plan on buying a newer textbook soon, I’m just going crazy waiting around for the application to process, for my loan money to come so I can buy stuff, I’m dying to get started. Would going through the 2013 FAR book in the meantime, just to “pre-game” or brush up be a good idea? Just to get a general grasp of the material while I wait to get the newer, updated questions/books? That way I can cut down the learning curve once I start full swing?

Some of the data is the same still obviously, however, some topics have been removed, some replaced, and some new things added also. FAR is already so much info to study for I would hate to study a section in the 2013 book and then realize it isn't even tested anymore.

If you want to go through the 2013 book, I would recommend focusing on journal entries and the NFP pieces. understanding bonds and contracts would be good also.
