I swear I don’t remember Wiley CPAexcel discussing negotiable instruments but I have come across quite a few questions about them in Ninja MCQ. Is there a good link anyone has to a site that discusses them or can someone give me a general breakdown about them?

Also, I struggle majorly with AMT preferences, deductions, etc. I can’t seem to remember what is deducted, what’s added, what isn’t included at all in computing this. I ask the same as for negotiable instruments – any good websites or a general breakdown that can help me understand this better?

Read the do not study excel sheet that Jeff has put up. Negotiable instruments and a few other topics aren't tested anymore.

I believe Jeff is still trying to get those question off of Ninja MCQ, but who knows when the software will be up to date. So just customize your session with the list in the meantime.

Well, that would explain why Wiley CPAexcel didn't cover that! Do you know if the AICPA tests with 2016 numbers (i.e. standard deductions) or 2017, because I have been using and memorizing 2016 numbers so I hope it's not different on the exam!
