    Foreign Tax Credit
    Child and Dependent care credit
    Lifetime Learning credit
    Child tax credit
    elderly disabled credit
    general business credit
    adoption credit

    EIC credit
    American Opportunity credit

Am I supposed to memorize all the details of them–credit calculation, phase out AGI limit,

There isn’t even a mnemonic for them.

And Gleim decides to put this in the same chapter as individual AMT and losses.

    FAR-80

    AUD-77

    REG-75

    BEC-82

    I'm done done!

Know they exist. Know they have phase outs. Know which are refundable/partially refundable. Have some familiarity with rules other than phase outs and how they work for MFJ vs. Single. Know the AOTC is 4 years and life time isn't.

    Should be enough.

    AUD - 96
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 89
    REG - 86
    Aaron and always remember, YMMV

I profit from your CPE frustration. You're welcome.

I used Becker primarily and Gleim's test bank to supplement. It worked well for other portions of the exam, but for REG Gleim spends way too much time on credit calculation and phase outs. Do not spend so much time remembering these, as aaronmo said above: know they exist and general information about them, but you will likely not have many questions on your exam about these topics. Good luck.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 92
    FAR - 82
    REG - 90
Don't get nervous, you suck when you're nervous
