IL Employment Verification

I recently passed the CPA exam, and currently in the process of filling out the IL CPA License application. I asked my supervisor to fill out the Employment Verification form and she came back with this response:

“Financial budgeting and monthly forecasting of expense departments within the organization. Produces and analyzes industry metrics across multiple markets within the organization.”

My job title is Senior Financial Analyst, and while this description is true, I also perform month-end close accounting functions such as preparing journal entries, preparing financial statements, and variance analyses. Is my supervisor’s response OK, or should I have her change it? Thoughts?

Illinois just wants verification you have one year experience with business related responsiblities. Your supervisor's response will be fine, though shame on your supervisor for not being thorough. If I were in your shoes, I would ask it to be rewritten to include the other tasks (if your supervisor would be amenable to doing so); however, you will be fine if it is not. If you read Illinois' requirements, they are quite lax.
