I got this for free from Wiley (part of promoting their CMA review course). It is a salary survey done by the IMA comparing those with no license, CMA, CPA, and both CMA/CPA. It is worth looking at if you considering the CMA. It looks like adding the CMA after the CPA should help, but it varies a bit depending on the variable (size of company, position, education, geography, etc.)

On a serious note though….please realize these are not salary numbers by gender for “similar positions”. It could very well be skewed if a larger percentage of male respondents had higher level positions…

Did you look at that report????

Can we agree that in every salary bracket comparing genders men ALWAYS earn more?

There are more female respondents in lower levels. I don't think a higher number of male respondents in higher level positions is skewing it at all. That's actually quite accurate.

And even when there are a select few female respondents in high level positions, they still earn less.
