Is a week of review for FAR enough?

My FAR exam is scheduled for Nov 13. I am using Becker and am on section 6 of 10. I plan to finish all 10 sections by the Friday a week before my exam, giving me 7 days to review. I took off work the Friday before my exam, but I work full time and fear that a week might not be enough to cement my knowledge.

I have been taking my time on each section, making sure I understand everything in hopes that extensive review will not be necessary, but this means I have very little time to do and re-do MCQs. Any advice?

i don't think it is. I needed 2 to get through everything. Can you reschedule the exam until the 20th?

I think it's definitely possible if you understand a lot of the material and don't have to review everything. However, I'd be much more comfortable with 2 weeks (as I have given myself just over two weeks)

Thank you! I think I am going to try to accelerate my pace, and decide closer to time if I need to reschedule.

Honestly, it depends how fresh everything is in your mind. A week might be tough but I wouldn't say it isn't do-able if you're feeling confident. Whatever you decide to do, best of luck!

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

It’s possible, but I’d really shoot for 10-14 days due to the amount of material.

    Goodluck!

I agree with Blue Collar as well. 10-14 days should be good. You might be able to pick up the pace on some sections that have very little calculations. I think the best way to study is to push through the material quickly a first time and then go back through a second time. So many people agree that if you spend too long studying for the exam you tend to forget material.

i'd recommend pushing it back if possible. it's not impossible to pass with a week of review, depends on how well you know the material to begin with. once you start doing mixed mcq's and seeing your scores you should be able to tell if you'll be ready or not.
