I dunno about any of yall, but i feel like the Ethics exam is 5x harder than the real exam? Like its open book yet i feel zero uncertainty about anything i answer (well i say out of the 50 i took….im uncertain 20 of them). In the CPA exam, the questions could vary in terms of hard or easy, but the CA Ethics seems like its either medium or VERY hard…plus doesnt help the words in the questions rhyme!!! like to make your mind even more insane.

Anyways, vending. Any tips that aren’t obviously a violation would be great! So far i’ve done the CTRL-F thing. I plan on submitting mine this weekend but i want to be absolutely certain i have exhausted all efforts before i hit submit.

-PRINT trouble topics.

-Also Used WTB mcq (68% trend).
-Do 40-50 SIMs and read answers/try to learn from solutions like its a book example.
-Lastly, when having trouble with same topic, go big picture and watch trouble lecture

I hear ya! I am licensed in another state and am trying to get my my CPA in Cali and the only thing left is the PETH. I had to take the AICPA ethics for my current CPA but the PETH is killing me! I have used the suggestions on here but didn't read them until my 1st fail! I feel that it is more brutal than the CPA! I But still have to retake even after taking several days and looking up each question using Ctrl-F…I will prevail! I hope it's a pass for you this week. Good luck!

@Me. I actually just submitted…and passed! Good luck with your exam…the only thing that really really helped me was Ctrl-F it to oblivion…and literally creating a spreadsheet that tracks every single answer i did for each, noting the page number and highlighting the would-be answer that i found…i think our of the 50, i actually found over half…the rest had to just really read the questions thru.

This is LITERALLY a 10 year journety for me (with lots of bumps on the road)….good luck with you my friend!
