Is there such a thing as a Ninja MCQ free trial?

    NINJA Question –

I keep reading all these great reviews about how Ninja helped them pass and how the questions are more reflective of the actual exam. I’ve though about paying for them but I also have a couple of coworkers who used them in the past tell me they use the same test bank as Wiley/Roger. Before I actually commit to paying, does Jeff offer a test trial?

    For $47 it's practically free 🙂

I second @anyatver , spend the 47. You will not be dissatisfied.

You will see overlap in EVERY test bank. The difference, I feel, is in the explanations. Jeff does a very good job of explaining the answers, where the other ones I had used, didn't.

With the price being $47 for 3 months, you can't beat it. Sure, there are better prices out there for Wiley, but it costs more for the full year. If you don't need it for a full year, it isn't worth it. Buy the test bank for 1 section, if you don't like it, hey, it is cheap. If it helps you get a 75, instead of a 74, that $47 is the most valuable investment you could have made.

    Good luck!

Ginja_CPA: Thanks for that explanation. I agree with everyone that it is a great price for the MCQ but I just thought that if they are the same questions, there's no need to pay for them if I already have access to them. Now you telling me that the explanations for why you got the question right/wrong differ, that appeals more to me. I feel like I'm not really grasping the AUD material so having someone explain the answers differently might be really helpful.

I wouldn't have passed my exams if it wasn't for Ninja. Not only does it have great explanations, but there's also links you can click that will bring up more information that relates to the question.

I have Roger and thought the Ninja MCQs were very helpful and it didn't feel like there were that many duplicates. I will definitely be buying them for REG, FAR and AUD.

Okay, no idea what test bank you have. But here goes. I'll use AUD as an example since I believe I used the most updated version of WTB for that section. Yes, I did finish ALL the MCQs for Roger's IPQ, NINJA, and WTB. For Roger's IPQ, I would say about 40% of the questions overlap with NINJA, but not entirely. Roger's SIMs are NOT as difficult as NINJA though, but they do have DRS (like a handful) while NINJA does not (something to consider). WTB probably was the most different questions among the 3, only about 20% overlap with Roger and NINJA. However, I want to say that I disliked WTB the most because I did not feel the way they asked their questions was reflective of the exam. Overall, I think if you had Roger's and supplemented with NINJA, it would highly benefit you.

Do I recommend you buying all three? Hell no, such a waste of money. I only had all 3 because Roger's was paid by my previous firm, NINJA was paid by me, and my coworker bought the yearly WTB. These questions are a tool to help you learn the material, there are OTHER ways for you to internalize the material, especially for AUD. I genuinely found notetaking and learning through the SIMs very helpful because SIMs reinforce the concepts you're learning, instead of testing memorization with the MCQs.

Thanks to all of you for your input. I will definitely buy the MCQ for audit and then I'll decide whether to buy them for REG as well.

hasy: Thank you for your honest opinion. I have been studying using Roger and like the review course. However, with this section I'm really struggling to understand the material and feel like I stand no change if I still want to take the exam within the next few week; specially given the fact that busy season is just around the corner. Anywho, maybe reading a different/more detailed description will help me grasp the concepts.

@misoc23- I finally got an exam that wasn't filled with random obscure IT questions. My third exam was pretty fair and covered every topic evenly. I didn't do anything different as far as studying. Just kept hitting mcq's and reading through the book. With BEC it's important to know the concepts and not just memorize as many formulas as you can.
