I’m giving my FAR exam next month. I have Wiley test bank right now. I’m wondering if that is alone sufficient for FAR or should i supplement it with something like ninja ?
    Thanks.

For most people, no. Most people need books and/or lectures and/or other materials in order to prepare fully and successfully for the exams. However, there have been a couple isolated cases on here where someone has passed with practice MCQs and/or SIMs only (think I can remember one who used Wiley and one who used NINJA and there's been some others too but I can't remember their materials). So, my answer is “no”, but that isn't to say no one's done it. Adding NINJA MCQs vs. just Wiley MCQs probably wouldn't make that much of a difference – either you're someone who can pass by MCQs only or you're not, regardless of the set of MCQs.

If you mean “Is Wiley test bank sufficient for the test bank used for FAR in conjunction with other materials”, then yes, it is. Wiley is the one that I personally used and went 4 for 4 with it. That being said, NINJA has some really good reviews around here and people who swear by it, so maybe it's worth trying for one exam for $67 (or whatever the price is now). But, if I was taking my exams now, I'd probably give it a try just to see what it was all about.

@Lilla I meant for Practice of mcqs. I have Wiley books and lectures and done reading. But i'm wondering if practicing only the Wiley test bank will make me ready for exam or if i should buy ninja for better insight. Thanks for your inputs.

OK, makes sense. 🙂 Hope I didn't seem like I was splitting words with my first reply; there have been people who have done MCQs-only, and others who talked about doing it, so I didn't want to answer one question when a different one was being asked.

So, with the question confirmed: Wiley is sufficient, but NINJA is good too. If you're feeling like you're wanting an extra push, get NINJA; if you feel pretty comfortable, then Wiley definitely can be enough, so don't feel like you have to get something else if you're good with what you've got.

I have two friends that tried to study Wiley using homework questions only, and fail miserable. They didn't want to read the book so ended up flipping the bill for Becker and was able to pass with homework questions for FAR.

I would honestly, just pay the $67 for NINJA. Skip 2 fancy dinners this month or next and use WTB and NINJA for questions. Though, I guess that's just my study habits. I'd like to use 2 test banks or 3, if the 3rd one is free.
