I just got out of my Audit exam and I have to say, the SIMs left me speechless. I thought I did ok on the MCQ’s. My second and third testlets seemed harder than my first one. I thought I won’t use up all 4 hrs of the exam but I was working on those SIMs till the last second. I am pretty sure I got the research tab right and another research question on one of the other SIMs. But other than that, I have absolutely no idea nor can recall what I did. This was my first time taking one of the 4-hour long exams and I was so mentally exhausted by the end of my third testlet. I really hope I didn’t mess up this exam. I need to pass this one so I can move on to my last one (hopefully). Anyone had a similar experience coming out of Audit? Did you end up passing?

Im in the same boat as you. I want to get audit out of the way before the long wait. :/ these 4 hour tests are def more brutal than the shorter ones.

    FAR: 74 1/15/16, 72 7/2/16 -_-

My time for judgement with AUD will be this Friday. Do you think the SIMs were more insane than REGs? 4 hour exams are no joke (FAR was exhausting start to finish), and though I haven't taken aud, if you think the second and third testlets were harder and you got at least one SIM down you are probably in the clear! At least this has been my experience for both REG and FAR. The topic has been beaten to death but seriously trying to understand the grading behind these exams is the equivalent to trying to decipher a deeper meaning behind someone's drawing of a hand turkey.

How much did you practice the SIM's? I have gone through Wiley's once now and they definitely saved my a$$ on REG, but am wondering if I should step it up based on your experience.

I still can't believe this is real.

    FAR - 76 - [4]
    BEC - 71, 73, September 9 2016
    AUD - July 28 2016
    REG - October 2016

I def thought my SIMs on AUD were more difficult than on REG. I at least knew what I was doing on my SIMs for REG. These SIMs were very FAR-topics based. Your words gave me some hope that it may not be as bad afterall. And I agree about the grading on these exams – it's like a draw out of a hat. To be honest, I don't really practice SIMs as much. The only time I get around them is when I am doing my final review, and that too so I can familiarize myself with all the tabs. Since there is no way to predict the kind of SIMs you get on the exam, I prefer to focus on the conceptual understanding and MCQs. I don't really go through SIMs until I take the final practice exams, where I put myself in real-life like exam environments.

Sounds like my third go at AUD. I was so upset when I left that prometric called to say I forgot my license there. The SIMS, I swear I got all wrong. Ended up with an 84.

I took Audit in Q4 and had a similar experience. I thought I was doing okay on the MCQs, knew some and made some educated guesses. The SIMS.. I knew I got the research question right but the others.. hahaha. I don't even know what I put down for the open ended ones and for one SIM that was a drop-down, I practically put down the same answer for all the questions (took a gamble thinking some of these must be correct). That's how I worked on the SIMS till the last minute! I walked out thinking I was very borderline.. if not, a fail. I ended up passing! Didn't pass with a very high score but a pass is a pass!
