    1. Everything is fair game, everything!
    2. Yes, know the concepts but also know both advantages/disadvantages to them.
    4. If you are weak in areas, well guess what, they will be on the exam.
    5. Will you have time issues? No, q’s are rather straightforward.
    6. WC, just practice practice practice they are not hard just focus to your audience.
    7. Are there calculation, YES of course but nothing you can’t handle and as you have seen versions of these over and over via the Ninja MCQ.
    8. Take nothing for granted, this is no walk in park but completely doable.
    9. Did I pass, I doubt it but time will tell.

    Hoping this helps you.

I am also curious what study materials you have used, and how much time you had studied. Thanks.

I hope you passed. Really. The new version is supposed to be wicked. Not looking forward to it at all. Apparently it's supposed to separate the boys from the men. Whatever.
    Fingers crossed for you!!!

@Shawn in VA : She can't tell you what topics the WC was on due to disclosure rules. You should know that… I took BEC this quarter and I will say don't stress about the WC. Depending on how much time you have to study, I'd almost say don't waste your time practicing. Time would be better spent on MCQ or rereading the textbook/notes. As long as you can memorize the “correct” structure to the essay, you'll do well. Just be familiar with all the topics. I passed with an 87 and I consider myself a very weak writer. I also had less than 15 min/essay, so I rushed through it and was not able to look over any of my essays to edit them.

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

    AUD: 65

    BEC: 87

    REG: 66, 83

    FAR: 77

Yes, all WC were relevant to BEC material.
Used Roger and Ninja, spent about 5 weeks or so around 100 hrs give or take.
I left over 15 mins per WC, that is adequate and enough time to proof read too.
    Was my first attempt.
I would say correct you need your study time spent on MCQ and understanding ALL and I stress ALL the BEC material, nothing should be assumed or taken for granted about this. I will also tell you it is not enough to “just understand” the concepts, you need to be able to apply them as to the “way” they ask you the questions.

I hope I passed too, but I feel it is hard to walk out thinking you aced any of these test.

How on point were Ninja MCQ compare to the actual exam? Getting my ass kicked right now with a 70ish avg + trending score on Ninja.

Some of these topics/questions/concepts seems so foreign compare what CPAexcel was throwing at me.

    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 81
    REG - 82
    FAR - 74 first attempt

    Eli-

I was NOT asking him/her what the BEC topics were. I was asking ” Were your WC topics on BEC” if you see my post above. That is a legit question b/c I have been screwed on the WC b/c they tested FAR, REG, and AUD and I had only taken one of those (REG) at that time. That is so unfair they (AICPA)can do that. I mean seriously I got a WC that asked me the difference between cash vs accrual accounting last year. What does that have to do with BEC???? That is a REG question. Luckily I had taken REG and I got that one right. Thank you though for your insight about MCQ.

Good Lordy- thanks for the reassurance I am relieved there were only BEC topics.

Not trying to sound sore but this has made me real bitter getting a 74 back in OCT 2016. The AICPA has to maintain this stupid “prestige” of the license and only allow like 45% of the people to pass. So if too many people pass they can hand out any score at or below 74 b/c there is ZERO transparency and we do not get the test back to study our wrong answers like back in high school or college.

    AUD - 84
    BEC - 81
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - 75
    AUD - 84

    BEC-  81

    REG-75

    FAR- TBD

Ninja is very representative of exam in my opinion. If you are at 70% that is fantastic but keep pushing to 80% +, I know today that might sound crazy but things will slowly start to click.

I spoke to someone I have a ton of respect for, he said “this exam is a lot about knowing how to understand how to take them exam” and to me what that meant is once I started to do 100's and 100's of Ninja MCQ and then took the exam I realized these really are so similar to what I was tested on. Hope this helps, good luck. Don't let up either.
