Being that this was my first exam, I was expecting a bloodbath from start to finish.

10 questions in and I thought, “Okay, I can stay on pace and finish this in time.” Left myself with 15 minutes per sim.

The first 5 out of 8…they were reasonable. Nothing to get too upset about. Finished testlets 3 and 4 with 50 minutes to spare.

I guess the test-makers decided that I was too calm and decided to pull out all the stops for the last testlet. The first sim caught me off guard. I think I did an okay job on it, but it ate a lot of time. That came back to haunt me as the last two we’re just as bad. I got about 75% way through it and ran out of time.

One bit of advice: Work on your pace I on DRSs. Just in case you come across one.

"FACT": The odds of consecutively passing all four sections of the CPA exam on the first try: 7%.

    Me: Hold my beer...

    FAR (April 2017): 75+

    BEC (May 2017): 75+

    AUD (July 2017): 75+

    REG (September 2017): 75+

Like every single one of my FAR sims had lots of supplemental material I had to go through.
Yeah I had a replace the sentence (DRS) sim. The hard part about those is they seem to be like last and have a boat load of options to pick.
Though I think you can eliminate some very easy. For example I had one 2016 document, but some answers were talking about numbers from 2014 and 2015, which wasn't what we were doing.

    BEC Passed
    REG Passed
    AUD August results
    FAR August results

    BEC: 80
    REG: 75
    FAR: __, ?/2016
