Just took FAR, got very similar question twice on 2 testlets

    Did I fail?

    I knew some of that stuff, it was all a haze.

    My first testlet had a very similar question on my third testlet.

    So did I Just fail the exam or whats the deal, since i probably got easy testlets i feel.

    Damn it.

    That's pretty normal. On my REG exam I saw the, basically, same question on both my first and second testlets and I know I got it right both times. If you knew it then that's awesome! I'm pretty sure I've seen repeat questions on most of my exams.

    Done! 9 tests over 16 months. Failed first 3 with Becker. Passed 4 of next 6 with Ninja MCQ.

    I got a duplicate when I took REG too. Basically you know it's probably not pretest and if you got it right both times that's free points!

    I took FAR yesterday and honestly it was the FIRST time I didn't have any duplicate questions… seems like every other exam I have taken I have had dupes– in fact BEC asked me the same question four times… so wouldn't sweat it. Good Luck!

    FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator

    I read somewhere that it doesn't matter if you get those duplicate questions right as long as you answer the same every time. Supposedly they are just trying to see if you are guessing.

    I actually got very similar questions tested with slight (but critical) differences between the MC and Sims

    Dude that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life. If I don't know the answer, then of course I'm gonna pick different answers both time, better to hedge my bets then to choose the wrong answer twice. Stupid AICPA
