The multiple choice questions were not bad at all. I feel pretty good on those. Im pretty sure I also got the research question correct. But the SIMS were so difficult I have no idea how anyone would be able to answer them correctly. Im not sure if I was just extremely unlucky and got all extremely difficult sims but I literally did not feel confident on one simulation. I even had a sim on material that was not even covered in Becker. Please tell me someone else was in the same situation and ended up passing.

I just took FAR in Q1 and it was the first exam I'd taken and I left the facility feeling exactly the same way. As you can see in my sig, I did end up passing, but I thought for sure I failed due to the difficulty of the SIMS. My research one was easy and two of the SIMS were somewhat easy but the rest I pretty much just guessed my way through. Two of them I wasn't even familiar with the topic at all and I studied the Becker book front to back. So, I understand where you're coming from, but there's definitely still hope that you passed. I was actually so convinced I failed that I started restudying FAR before the scores were released so when I found out I passed, I couldn't believe it.

I also felt very similar after my FAR exam. I started studying again for my re-take since I was 99% sure I failed and luckily I only had to wait a week for my score. I'm guessing that I just scraped together enough partial credit because I didn't feel confident about any of my sims except for the research. The AL helped me a little for one of them but I still ended up filling in zeroes for the majority of that sim. I can't remember too much else since I took it at the end of November but those sims were rough! Now I'm going crazy waiting until May 24th for my REG score which I'm worried about due to the sims again lol.

Best of luck to you – it's definitely possible that you passed!

Hey STS – what is the “AL” that you're referring to in your post? Sorry if this is a dense question!

My teenage son to me "If you don't pass, it isn't like you'll die or anything."  True.  Very true.  Just do your best, it's all you can do.

@STS, how was your REG MCQ? I also took Reg a week ago and waiting. .. My sims were ok, I'm only nervous about my MCQ. This is supposed be my last section. The suspense is real! I'm really grateful to my ninja community.

@SpiritofGod My REG MCQs seemed to go pretty well but I'm still kind of worried about them since I'll probably need to knock them out of the park in order to get enough points to pass because of my sims : / The uncertainty while waiting for scores is the worst! Hopefully we'll both have good news for score release and then you'll be done with this exam forever : )

Same experience. First set of MC was extremely easy. 2nd and 3rd not so much. I was shocked how much focus there was on 2 particular subjects. For the SIMS, besides the AL, all questions were impossible for me. I left over an hour and a half and it took me a long time to figure out how they wanted the answer. Unfortunately I let this psych me out. Ended up leaving two SIMS blank and realizing I made careless mistakes afterwards. Mentally preparing myself for a retake :/
