    Geez…I can’t wait to get this done. I use Becker and it seems like I am doing well. I take 90 question progress tests and score around 85-91 on them.

    Is there anything else i can do to prepare? Is it true chapter 3-4 are the most heavily tested?

    Thanks

    @cbones1979, it looks like we are in an almost identical situation! Audit is my last part also, and I am scheduled for 1/20. My nerves have kicked in big time….

    I intentially left Audit for last as I knew it was the least voluminous. I am scoring very well in the Wiley TB, however; the thought of failing this last section is stressing me out.

    I'm right there with both of you. I take AUD on 2/2. I am so ready to just be done. I am currently finishing up chapter 5. The first section of chapter 5 kicked my butt, so I know I am going to have to go back and review that. I take 20-30 question progress tests after I finsh up each chapter and I am usually in the mid to low 80's

    REG 10/14/14 - 82 - Becker live course, Ninja notes and audio
    BEC 11/25/14 - 88 - Becker live course, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions
    AUD 2/3/15 - 94 - Becker self study, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions

    The only tips I was give was:

    Know the parts of the different reports

    Know the opinions

    Know the Assertions

    I am a bit confused on the opinions as Ninja Audio says the qualified is now called modified but Becker continues to have qualified as the answer to most of the MCQ.

    Isn't it just a modified if it isn't unmodified and then it is specifically either a qualified or adverse?

    @cbones1979, I had the same question when I first started studying. When I took auditing back in 2007, the terms “qualified” and “unqualified” were used. From my perspective “modified” and “unmodified” mean the exact same thing, i.e.

    unqualified = unmodified

    qualified = modified

    If anyone else would like to correct me or chime in, please feel free 🙂

    That is what I thought and I am preparing for. However, the becker lectures have said “qualified” opinion numerous times.

    My luck, I will get a question that gives me an option for modified or qualified and it still isn't made clear.

    Even searching the web hasn't led me to anything concrete.

    This is what my Wiley book says:

    A standard unqualified audit report is issued by CPAs when their examination and the results thereof

    are satisfactory. This report has an opinion referred to as “unmodifed” in the AICPA and international standards, while

    referred to in the PCAOB standards as “unqualified.”

    I am in the same situation as you guys – last exam. I thought it would be “shortest” and “sweetest”. No such luck….

    REG 08/25/14 82
    FAR 11/25/14 80
    AUD 02/25/15 72, 05/15/15 98! DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am putting in more time on this one than the last 3. I am hoping that helps. I think that pieces of the other 3 show up in AUD so there is a little overlap.

    2 hours a night seems to nearly assure success on these exams for me.

    will do, should have an update sometime this weekend. I'm coming home tomorrow and starting REG which is scheduled for 2/26 so that will require a lot studying.

    Right now, im feeling pretty down about this exam tomorrow. I am reading my book and feel like nothing makes sense. I read A3 & A4 today and will give A5 a good look over later. I am trending 79% in ninja and have 2,400 question attempts..only 150 not seen. I have also went through becker twice so idk what else i can do. i wonder if i just got good at picking out the answers and didnt learn the actual material but everyone always says MCQ until your eyes bleed so that was my plan. I just feel like im going to see a 72 or something like that on score release day.

    I have 5 chances to get through AUD and REG before FAR expires so hopefully i can pull out two passes in between those 10 attempts..
