I’ve just begun studying for my last section and I honestly have to say it’s ten times harder this go round than the other 3 sections. My brain just feels exhausted and fried. Not to mention I find the material in REG to be the most boring EVER. I’ve slowed down a bit and at this rate, I will never finish before my scheduled exam date in November.

Anyone have any tips or tricks you’ve used in order to stay focused?

I went through a similar situation as you (except my last section was BEC). The material was dry to me and it didn't help that my brain was tired.

To gain momentum and confidence, I tackled the “easier” portions first.

This may sound weird, but I wrote “74” on a post-it and placed it over my desk. This was my weird way to push through ,because I couldn't bear the idea of scoring a 74 on my last exam.

I'm not completely done yet (I have and AUD retake in November) but I am feeling the same way with REG. I am NOT a tax person at all, I have no interest in it and I am finding it so so so difficult to pick up and retain the nuances between things. I had a panic attack/meltdown last week and ended up pushing my test back a week because I just felt like I am not getting the material.

So I dont have any advice but I am right there with you!! I am ready for the nightmare to be over and I want my normal life back!!

Lol I was the opposite. When I took BEC last I busted my ass, because I wanted to be done with this damn exam. My motivation was thinking about life after the exam and never studying again on the weekend, also family members never asking if you passed or not. REG is dry, that's why I took it after FAR. If you have Roger he makes it exciting. I used the wiley book for REG and did a crap load of problems, helped me get a 79.
