Hi there! I am currently applying for Initial Licensing in CA. My first LiveScan was rejected by FBI / DOJ for poor quality. I received the documentation to get reprinted. Does anyone know what happens when the second scan is also rejected?

OAG website: If rejected because of poor quality by the FBI on the second attempt, the applicant agency must request an FBI name check. To do so, please complete and submit the FBI Name Check Request, pdf.

Has anyone completed the FBI Name Check Request? How delayed is the CPA application process?

    Thanks!

I’m not in CA, but I just got printed last week as part of a federal job application. I don’t know where you went to get fingerprinted, but here the local police department will do prints. Their live scan machine indicates at capture whether or not the print is of sufficient quality (i.e. AFIS quality).
