How did you manage to stay positive and not let the person in your head ruining your day by reminding you that you are going to fail? Funny, my SO asked me why I keep logging on to another71 now that I have taken my last exam. It was awkward to explain it to her that sometime along the road I became the part of this amazing CPA community. I am have had my BEC done couple of days ago and I keep having negative thoughts and wondering is it just me or It happens to others? Normal I get right into studying next section after taking exam but this time I don’t know how to keep myself occupied and not think about score and exam. Please share your time while waiting for the score results and have no other sections to study for. Thank You!

Im in the same boat. Waiting for my last result (hopefully) on Friday. If I dont get it on Friday. I will have to wait for next release. I am unable to concentrate on anything. Keep thinking on Friday. I am hoping for the best and prepared for the worst.

I was “lucky” in that I started house-hunting days after taking my last exam (took the last one on Saturday – I think it was Tues or Wed that we started looking at houses), so I had a pretty consuming project to keep me busy (not to mention having started a new job less than a month before taking my last exam).

Without that… I guess I would have tried to focus on all the things I couldn't do during exam-time to enjoy them for a change. If I failed, then it'd be “enjoy them while I could”, and if I passed, then it'd be getting a head-start on all the enjoying that was to come. So, whatever it was that you gave up during exam time (time with family, time doing a hobby, time marathoning a favorite show, etc.), use this time to get caught up on it.

And…generally, try to throw yourself 100% into whatever you're doing. Hard, but make it a goal. What made my final-test-results-pending time bearable was that I had things that required 100% (during work, new job; outside of work, looking for a new home), so it was easier to focus on them.

Hi Lilla, Thanks for your suggestion. I have been trying to focus on other things. However, It has been very difficult lately due to lower back pain. Thanks to REG exam for this pain. All I want now is to get over this long journey. My final result will be announced tomorrow morning.
