@Needsa75 I took it 3 times before I got the 80. The first time I should have failed it I was overconfident after passing FAR and I didn't study like I should have. Second time I did study and I would swear to you I passed it, came home and applied for BEC, started studying the next day only to find out two weeks later I failed it. Finally got thru it in January. The third time it was still hard as hell and I'm convinced this exam is a crap shoot.

What did you get the second time? I'm worried because I felt pretty good leaving the testing center. Nothing I can do about it now…but I'm curious as to why you felt so confident on the second attempt?

I made a 70. I was just feeling confident about it- I felt like I rocked the mc I felt good about the problems (I know I didn't get them all but I felt like I had most of it). My score report said comparable in 3 categories, stronger in one and weaker in one. Stronger in mc and weaker in Sims. The third time I studied for it I got really hands on with the material- making my own flowcharts and Googling literally anything I was missing. It was a humbling experience for sure and I definitely learned how to study. I've been following your story- I feel like you passed this one.

I guess at the end of the day I felt decent about everything, but am worried that the examiners went out of their way to trick me and I fell head over heels for the bait and am over estimating how I did.
I've heard from quite a few people who thought they did well on AUD only to get less than a 75.

Again, I know I didn't ace the exam but thought I did enough correctly to get a 75 but feel more and more uncertain about everything as we get closer to the release date..

I took the aicpa ethics test and got that done; now doing the WA state ethics this weekend. I am hoping I didn't jinx this…..

@EZ_sims I felt great about bec. I knew a lot of the questions and I got lucky and pulled three topics I was familiar with. I was actually surprised I didn't do better. I really do feel like a lot of this exam process boils down to luck.

Of course 1:05am our time would be 2:05am East coast time, so even in daylight savings time it would work. I assume you're checking the OAB website – but if there is somewhere else you're checking, I'd love to know about it!
