    Hello,

I recently passed all 4 sections of the CPA exam and want to ask my employer to sign off on the experience. However, I have yet to complete 150 credits (currently at 141). Is it possible to still have my employer sign off on the experience and send over the documents before I complete the remaining credits? thank you

Will be different per state but in my state you can send your exp. forms before the state bird receives your info from nasba. They said they would “create a file upon receipt”.

I am not sure how different the process is across the States. I am on CO and I applied for my license in April, knowing I was missing 9 credits.

You can apply and expect to receive an educational requirements deficiency notice. In CO we have a year to fulfill the requirement for the application to remain active. After one year I would have to pay the fee again and start the application process from scarch.

So depending on whether or not you think you will be able to get the credits you need within a year (or whatever time you will be given for the application to remain active) you can apply now or after you earn your missing credits.

A lot depends on the school you select since not all of the classes you need will be available when you need them.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

    All Done!!!
