Hey everyone, New to the forum so hope I’m posting in the right spot. I was hoping for some advice on best way to accomplish most before the end of the year. I just finished my last requirement so I am waiting on LSU to grade the course and then submit an application.

I am off work essentially till the first of the year and would like to get all sections or most of them out of the way best I can. Best scenario I think is my application will be approvaed halfway through the next testing window. Should I use the short study window time to knock out one of the ones considered to need less study time or put all effort into studying for one like FAR? Firm is giving me access to Becker. Any suggestions are appreciated!

    Thanks!

FAR first, always FAR first. Hands down.

Far or Reg… reg updates in q3 I believe so if you have memory of tax law it might be a good one to knock out first.

    AUD - PASS

    FAR - PASS

    REG - PASS

    BEC - PASS

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

Typically, I would say knock out FAR first. The sheer amount of material in it can be quite intimidating especially if you are already tired from other exams. I waited until last to take it, and wished I didn't. Also, the new tax law (TCJA) is testable starting January 1st, so definitely worth considering trying to knock out REG before then.

Depending on how much time you plan on committing to studying, I strongly believe you can get all 4 exams done in 2018. At a minimum, I would try to knock out FAR and REG before the end of the year if I was you.

    Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I'll start on FAR while I wait for everything process. It will be my full time job till the end of year so will try to put in a minimum 35-40h a week. Will see how long I can keep my sanity.
