Missing One Ethics Unit

So I finished my CPA, and submitted my application for CA CPA license a few months ago. I finally got respond from the Accounting Board, and they stated that I need “one additional unit of Ethics Study Course devoted to accounting ethics or accountants’ professional responsibility.”

I took an “Accounting Ethics” course worth 4 quarter credits in school, so unsure why I am getting this notice. I plan on giving the board a call soon to figure this out, but just in case they still reject it, where could I possibly get 1 additional accounting ethics course. Is it possible, or would I have to take a full accounting ethics course?

    Hi there,
I had a co-worker that dealt with this. Call the board. They may just need a course description or something of that nature. Don't panic yet!

As far as I know, you will need to take 5 quarter units or 3 semester units. Total quarter units are multiplied by 2/3, so 4 quarter units are 2.67 units only. It won't hurt to call the board and ask though. All the best.

So I contacted the board, and they mentioned that I am just missing one semester unit in accounting. Is there any quick / easy courses I can do online that I can get one semester unit in accounting?
