Mistake on exam?

Have you ever seen a mistake on an exam? Did you write in to the AICPA? What happened? I swear there was a factual contradiction on a SIM that I took a few days ago. I couldn’t resolve the inconsistency in a reasonable amount of time and had to plow forward because this was the very first SIM. I want to write to the AICPA to comment but I’m afraid of the drawbacks of doing that, if any…My deadline is tomorrow to mail my letter!

“While I reason it is possible this discrepancy was intentional in order to force the candidate to use judgment and infer from all available documentation how to correct for the inconsistency, I feel compelled to write should this be a true mistake and if I was presented with an inaccurate or corrupted file.”

    Thanks.

I believe that you'll get the option of cancelling your testing and retaking. However, you'll never know the results of your prior exam. That's what my options were when my SIMS froze, spasmed, and wouldn't load.

    BEC - 78
    AUD - 75
    REG - 64, 77
    FAR - 73, 73, 73, 82

    Finally done after 23 months.
