    Hi AUD Gurus
This is the last quarter for AUD in old format and I am trying my best to pass with 76.
I am asking which chapter of AUD is considered difficult ? Or what areas are considered difficult by you all ?
In REG and FAR it’s very easy to list the difficult chapters e.g. Corp and Partnership Taxation and Pension Accounting etc.I am asking to same question in AUD and not sure which chapters are difficult for me as I have read Becker’s 2 times and did the home work too and feel that I understand the stuff but still got 70 hence asking this question to you all .I have a feeling that I may be missing something in AUD.
Your input is appreciated as introspection didn’t yield much.
    Thanks in advance

I think the different audit reports are really difficult, along with the different opinions. Remembering the lingo keeps tripping me up.

Also, sampling. All of it. Working really hard to get that down before next week. I think I've finally got down Control and Detection Risk. LOL

That's why audit sampling, evidence, and procedures are the last to be studied. Having used Becker. I always recommend to begin it with A6 first, then A1, A2, A3, A4, and A5.
A4 and A5 are the meat of AUD.

@Cruzer..remember the PCAOB adopted most of the AICPA reporting rules on an interim basis. Just remember the rules that the PCAOB created themselves.

    Hey @Nath,

I would say definitely focus your time on A3 and A4. It is important to know the reports from A1 and A2 but that is mostly memorization. Having a good understanding of A3 and A4 will help you pass. Good luck!

Also, what did you feel you did to pass REG? All advice is appreciated as I am testing soon.

    BEC - 77

    AUD - 85

    REG - TBD

    FAR - Q2

    Assertions for account balances.transactions.

Not the memorization of them by name (PERCV), but knowing how they apply in actual audit procedure.

    AUD : 73, 82
    BEC : 76

    REG : 72, 75

    FAR: 61, 84

A-4 no doubt! Transaction Cycles and other very Abstract information in A-4. Audit Reports (A-1) are a pain in the ass only bc there is a lot of memorization. The Reports are brute memorization, but very time consuming.
