    Hi All,

Just finished BEC and do not know what to think 🙁

I got many IT questions which I had to guess on and many others.

Feeling so bad because I invested 6 weeks using Becker, Ninja CPA and CPA Mastery.

Really don’t know what to think! Any advice will be appreciated.

    Hi Nath!

The memos were actually good! Wrote all three.

    The MCQ's were my problem.

I'm sure you did fine. 6 weeks is plenty for BEC.I used Becker for BEC as well and scored strong on IT questions even though I didn't read the book or listen to the lecture and covered the multiple choice questions once for the IT section. Becker did an excellent job at covering BEC. The only reason why I didn't scored as high as I could have is bc I was lazy. If you also supplement than I'm sure you did very well.

    AUD - 87
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 75
    REG - 82

I'm sure you did well. Though I sure hope in the second score release section they don't do many IT questions (I take my exam on the 21st:P

    AUD: 74, 75

    BEC: 81

    FAR: 64, 66, 76

    REG: 84

@Nathalia I don't think taking the exam in the first or second score release matters. As long as you take it in the first quarter, you can expect roughly the same exam as everyone else. Assuming they curve the exams in every quarter, it wouldn't make sense to give everyone completely different exams because scores wouldn't be comparable.

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training

    AUD: 65

    BEC: 87

    REG: 66, 83

@QueenCPA Was this your first exam ever? The actual questions are strange-similar conceptually-but strange especially for BEC. I wouldn't worry about the IT questions you weren't sure about because some of those were likely pretest. If you studied well you should be successful, please don't let doubt creep in. I'm sure that you did much better than you think you did. If you have another to study for put this one out of your mind and get moving!

    @cpasomedaymaybe

This was my first CPA Exam ever and you are certainly right about the actual questions being strange-similar conceptually.

I begin studying for REG tomorrow! Thanks for the motivation and good luck on BEC!

I felt the same way after leaving REG. Very strange, obscure questions. Many out of left field. Somehow I passed with an 84. Best of luck to you!

    AUD - 84

    REG - 67, 84

    FAR - 56, 84

    BEC - 71, ?? Jan 2017

    @Rachel

Thank you so much! Just hoping for a miracle.

Also, I am contemplating taking REG in 4 weeks.

Can you provide any advice from your experience and do you think 4 weeks will be good enough to cover all the material.

    Thank you

Thought I failed every test I passed. The first two times, I took REG, I thought I had a 99, but I got a 74 and 72. The third time, I thought I failed, and I got a 90. Definitely, thought I failed AUD. Questions, were from MARS or somewhere in outer space, but I got 83. I guessed 50% of that exam. You never know, you probably aced it.

    AUD - 83
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 77
    REG - 90
CMA Part 1 - 360 (Barely made it but I made it)
CMA Part 2 - 360 (Made it by the skin of my teeth)

    REG - 74, Retook 6/10/16, scored a 72 (Hate this exam)
    BEC - 69, 79, 8/1/15
    AUD - 83, 4/4/15
    FAR - 77, 2/27/16

Looks like this is your first gauntlet…so let me assure you that this is true…

If you haven't taken one and gotten the score back yet, you are completely incapable of judging how you performed. It is NOT “did you score 75% of questions correctly”. You don't know what counted, what the assigned difficulty ratings were or how well your instincts carried you.

I was at least 70% sure I failed FAR (my first exam). I whined for a month…drove my wife nuts…came close to quitting…was tested on the exact stuff I prepped less…

    And scored an 89.

I know how hard it is to believe this…but you don't know until release date.

    AUD - 96
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 89
    REG - 86
    Aaron and always remember, YMMV

I profit from your CPE frustration. You're welcome.

    Thank you so much!

Will hope for the best and keep you all updated once the score is released.

Also, are there any tips for knocking out REG in four weeks?

Using Becker and now on the R2 lecture.

    Thank you.
