"Multi-Stage Testing" on New Exam

    I know the multiple choice questions have medium and difficult testlets, but do the simulations on the new exam have different levels of difficulty depending on how you performed on the prior testlet?

    From what I've read, the SIMs are standard so they will not increase in difficulty like the MCQs.

    REG 69, 73, 80 (lost credit), 80!

    FAR 62, 69, 72, 79!

    AUD 71, 84!

    BEC 64, 71, 82!

    Done!

    No – the SIMS are not adaptive like the MCQ. I confirmed this with the AICPA Examinations Team directly.

    Has it been confirmed that the new exam does have adaptive MCQs?
