Must know phase outs for REG

    Hey. So I have REG tomorrow and I feel relatively comfortable woth the material but there are so many exceptions/phase outs and i was wonsering if anyone could shed some light on particular phase outs that are a “must know”

    FAR - 81
    AUD - 79
    REG - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training

    I think knowing that they exist is more important that knowing the dollar amounts and limits.
    From my recollection the actual phaseout limits are supplied in the question if you need to do a calculation.
    You should know how to apply it, but they are more testing the knowledge, not the memorization.
    Again, its been a while for me. Be sure to check out the AICPA sample, there may be examples in there.

    I checked the Sample test. I did not notice any phase-out questions on there that might help you.
    Still encourage you to do the sample if you have not already. Great practice.

    I didn't have to remember a single phaseout in any of the questions I had on REG. Invest study time in something else. Blame me if that advice ends in disaster.
