My score is the worst _-

I can’t believe I scored a 32 in FAR. -_- I will be honest though, I was not fully prepared nor did I stuck to my study strategy, instead of reviewing my notes at the end of the day I would relax. Not only that but I spent way too much time taking notes when I can be nailing and understanding the concepts through many reps of MCQs. Another reason is me not being fully prepared for the SIMs. It really caught me off guard knowing that I had a week left and I did not integrate any SIMs into my studies. I had to actually guess on my SIMs and left some areas blank because I had no idea how to answer the question. If I did not move on I would miss out on the other sims and would not have enough time so I had to just submit it. Please take my word for it, do not take these exams lightly and don’t make the same mistake I did. I really do hope I can overcome this obstacle in my life, I still have yet to pass one test =(

Don't beat yourself up! At least you know that you have to study more. None of these exams are easy and FAR is definitely one of the worst. Which study material are you using? If you're using Becker or Ninja I suggest watching all of the lectures and cranking out those MCQ and SIMs. Good luck!

Your score basically means you didn't study nearly enough…As long as you are honest with yourself, you will succeed! Use the “FAR SIMS Straight from AICPA Blueprint” on this forum…I did that for my retake and passed… Good luck!

Why are you sitting for an exam when you know you aren't prepared for it?

You can always reschedule with Pro-metric until a few days out. Fee or no fee, I don't see the point of wasting 4 hours of your life sitting there looking at a computer screen for a hail mary.

@Iceman I did not want to waste any more time plus I pushed my test back a week earlier into my study for FAR realizing I was behind schedule because I did not know how to use my study materials efficiently and effectively. Like I said before I wasted a lot of time taking notes so on the last week out from my test I decided to just take it because I really want to have time to take a chance at passing REG before the new changes in 2019.

Something that I realized very quickly when taking these exams is that you cannot do this on your spare time. As a matter of fact, if you have spare time you are not doing something right. Good luck next time!

@_Q I understand your frustration with taking notes. I used Becker my first 2 exams and found that 20 minute videos took me at least 40 – 60 minutes because I would right down all the notes they said to write down having no idea what was discussed. The 3rd exam still using Becker, I went through the book and made the notes and then went back and watched the video and added notes that made more sense to me. I had the same issue in school when we were forced to take full notes. After failing an exam, I printed the Ninja notes and hand rewrote them adding some of my own material. Good luck!

Improve your study habit. I score 54 on FAR on first try but passed with 76 on second try. It is definitely doable but as Einstein said, you need to change your habit to change the results.
