Nasba Error In Aud Simulation

    Hey Ninjas,

I took AUD today and noticed an error in one of my simulations supporting documents. The error was regarding the reference of dates for a specific time period. There was a crossing of dates that was realistically impossible. I answered the question as how it were intended to be written, and I’m pretty confident in my answer.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has ever entered an encounter like this or knows anyone who has? Does NASBA follow up with you? Or worst case, does your score get voided?

    Thanks!

    Hi @ash –

I once had an error (glitch in my case) in my exam. I wrote them (as per the instructions on my paperwork you receive when you sit for the exam) within the 5 days and they did write back saying they were looking into the issue or something. If you want to cover yourself, I don't see any harm in doing that. I think my paperwork had two addresses to contact. I used candidatecare@nasba.org .

I don't think if it was one SIM the test would be voided. I never received any further follow up after the initial email but I did end up passing. Again, don't see any harm in covering your bases in case you are correct.

    Thanks Kimberly.

I forgot to mention that I told Prometric of the issue and they said they would follow up with Nasba. Thanks for the input!

Since the AICPA can do no wrong I'd be willing to bet they grade question as it was intended to read.

@Pdiddy2000 & @stan did either of you report it? I wonder how they’ll go about correcting and grading.

I had the exact same issue. Figured it was a pretext question.

The AICPA let me know they are aware of the issue. I'll let you know more info if they send it.

Has something like this happened before? And if so, what was the resolution?

When they say issue being addressed do they mean points added to the score? Haha
