NASBA status \"on hold\" and \"CREVIEW\", question about driving record

I’ve been checking my NASBA application status like crazy because I was planning on taking my first exam in July. I started my application in February but due to issues at one of my schools it took me two months to get them one of the transcripts so now I’m behind. Yesterday I noticed the status changed to “CREVIEW” and next to my name it says “On Hold”. Can anyone tell me what this means? I have a misdemeanor on my driving record that I owned up to and I submitted all the required paperwork and the letter explaining the situation and I’m terrified that it will prevent me from taking the exam and becoming a CPA. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I tried and they said it was sent to my state coordinator who I was unable to get in touch with. I've tried calling for 3 days and no response.

    What state?

I had a nightmare experience applying last year. I applied in early February, planning on taking my exam Feb 29. Didn't get approval until mid April.

Apparently there was a delay in the delivery of some transcripts to my coordinator.

At one point, I emailed and called her directly, as well as her supervisor, for a month with no response.

I ended up contacting the State Accountancy board. Magically, things got done after that.

It's for Missouri. I had the transcript delay as well, I harassed my community college for a month and NASB just received the transcript maybe a week ago. So from February 23rd when I applied until mid-April, I was worrying about it all tax season. I'm more concerned that they are going to deny me because of the misdemeanor on my record which was an insane situation all on its own, I even provided them with statements from my lawyer and experts in the field of my traffic violation and all of them said I shouldn't have been pulled over for the situation but since I was and I had the option to either pay thousands of extra dollars to get out of it or just take the mark on my record and being over $40,000 in debt because of college loans the only option I really had was to take the fall for something I shouldn't have even gotten in trouble for in the first place. Now I'm paranoid about setting foot in any rural Missouri towns because they'll pull you over for anything, take all your money, and nearly destroy your life plans.

If you're just worried about the ding on your driving record, I wouldn't stress too much. Especially if you have all those supporting docs.

I'd be more worried about NASBA slacking on your app. Don't hesitate to contact your state board to move them along.
