NASBA Won't Provide NTS

The CA Board has given the ATT to NASBA for BEC but NASBA won’t give me the payment coupon to get my NTS. BEC has expired and the result for FAR is pending. NASBA says they need to wait for the FAR result before proceeding with the BEC NTS. I have passed REG and AUD and I am sure I have not passed FAR. I don’t see this policy published anywhere. It seems if the state board authorizes a test, it should just be a formality for NASBA to issue the NTS. I plan to follow up with the state board. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any insights? This really disrupts my study plan. I want to take BEC in the current window and take FAR in November.

Did you request both FAR and BEC from the CA board?
NASBA will not issue a new NTS for FAR until the previous NTS is closed. I'd recommend trying to get an ATT for just BEC from CA, and then request a new one for FAR once your grades are posted.
You should also read the candidate bulletin.

If you only requested BEC, without including FAR from CA, then your next step would be to contact your state board.
    Best of luck.

I only requested BEC. I just followed up with NASBA and they say BEC technically has not expired even though it is beyond 18 months because the FAR score is pending. I don't see anywhere this policy is published. NASBA recommends I request CA to rescind the BEC ATT and allow me to request ATTs for both BEC and FAR once the FAR score is in. At lease that way I won't have to send a separate application for FAR and pay the $50. Looks like there is no way I can retake BEC in the current window.

Sounds like there is not much you can do. Might have been better off skipping FAR so the NTS just expired if you knew you weren't going to pass.
I am hoping you pulled off a miracle and passed FAR so you BEC did not expire.

That's the standard since Far could be your final examination.
If you took Far before the expiration of Bec then your score at release date would determine whether you can get a new NTS for Bec.
If you pass FAR, then your bec score would not expire since you already have passed Aud, Reg, and Bec. Only if you fail can you request a new NTS from Nasba because the score would in fact now be expired at that time.

May the force be with you .

    BEC - 78 (2/16)

    FAR - 78 (2/16)

    AUD - 69 (8/16), 75 (10/16)

    REG - 65 (8/16), 65!! (10/16) - Just Shoot Me [Re - Retake (1/17) 75!] ..

    DONEEEEEEEE

    FAR - 2/16 - 78
    BEC - 2/16 - 78
