Hi future CPAs, just finished my FAR studies and started the review process (my exam scheduled on Oct/3), just to discover that becker added an (I) to the pufer mnemonic!
After googling it i found out that it stands for (instrument specific credit risk) which apparently goes to oci also, i have searched google to find any examples and youtube also for any lectures or explanations, nothing.

I don’t have enough time to order the new book version (it would take up to 3 weeks to be delivered) as i am an international candidate, and my FAR subscription expires on the oct/1, and there is no questions related to that topic in Becker CPA Review’s software to date. Not even one.

As you may already tried yourselves it’s pointless to ask Becker CPA Review’s Academic support any general questions, they would just point out the pages (page) in the book that explains it.

So can please any one explain the concept to me in plain English or better paste a couple of mcq that are subject related so i could get an idea about it..

As you know they tend (at least thats what we had been told) to test new updated areas like leases, revenue recognition, fin. Instruments etc

    Thanks in advance.
