So I embarrassed myself after passing BEC in July and got a 62 on AUD. I have access to the Becker books, but purchased Yaeger in Feb. Anyway, someone on here stated that Becker Final review was great, also Roger was really good too. I think Yaeger AUD sucks! What I did was read Becker A1and A2 and took notes realizing I would never make it through the book. I switched to ninja MCQ, but obviously failed terribly. Any thoughts/feedback would be great.

For me reading the book is the most helpful part of studying, and it was especially helpful for AUD since that exam is all conceptual. I never take any notes so getting through the book doesn't actually take that long. I think reading the book before diving into the ninja MCQ would probably help you out a lot and could keep you from having to pay for more study materials. If you really hate reading though or are more of an auditory learner you might need to get something else.

I have taken and passed AUD twice now. It sucked. But I used Becker the first time around with the final review and got a 77. Used Roger second time (only got through like half the material) and passed with an 84. Roger or Becker are good options. I personally think Roger books are much easier to read and don't put me to sleep. I don't really bother with lectures too much as they all are kinda boring and I get more out of reading and hammering out questions. I've used the Roger CRAM course for other exams (BEC/FAR) and while I didn't pass, I improved my score a lot and am going to use it again for this next time around as I'm trying to knock out both next month and be done with this B.S. Good luck!!!!! And don't feel bad about a 62. I got a 59 on REG my first time and passed the second time.

Not sure what your money looks like:

Ninja is 47 and pretty good
Wiley TB is 150 and pretty good
Gleim is 250 now (ridiculous, was $89 for tb and textbook when I started this journey) but is pretty good

    CPA (2017)

    REG:  75

    BEC:  76

    FAR:  77

    AUD: 78

    CMA (2019)

    P1: 380

    P2: 360

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

I used Becker solely for Audit. MCQ helped a lot. More than the book. With going through the MCQ once for most parts and a brief 3 day review before the exam, I was able to pass with a 78 miraculously. All thanks to the MCQ by Becker. It is good knowing what is in the book as well. You want to be comfortable with the material and with MCQ and the book I believe Becker will be able to get you the 75+. It is also luck on the areas of questions you get. If you get a ton of Evidence, then that will be a bad blow. If you get a lot of reports, then luck is on your side. Focus on your strengths and capitalize on them while also strengthening your weak points. Don't forget about Ethics. That is the area where Becker was lacking. The questions were much worse on the exam. It is about 15-18% of the exam according to the AICPA so don't look over it just because it is in A6 of Becker. For A6, just worry about Ethics. Everything after you won't really see I think.
