I have Wiley CPA materials. I am studying for FAR. I am kind of cramming as I just started yesterday and taking my test on the 5/31. I tried just taking multiple choice questions over and over but I did very poorly and felt like I learned nothing. So now I am going through the study guide for each lesson and taking the multiple choice test questions that align with the study guide. This is a little better but I am still failing the multiple choice tests and still don’t feel like I am learning/retaining much information at all. Any suggestions?

It seems like you need a change of scenery.

You have some time before your exam.

Just put away your CPA exam prep materials since they only seem to be frustrating you now. Instead pick 5 topics you seem to struggle with the most. Go research them–either online, in your old textbooks from college, youtube video, wherever. Write out notes in your own words for what you find.

Then when you feel more comfortable resume your studies with your CPA exam review materials.
